About the Journal

International Journal of Islamic Thought and Research is an international peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute forĀ  Research and Community Service STAI YDI Lubuk Sikaping Pasaman Sumatera Barat, Indonesia in collaboration with the International Islamic Studies Development and Research Center (IISDRC). International Journal of Islamic Thought and Research is an Open Access Journal whose users have the right to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full text of the article. The journal's international perspective is reflected by international authors, international editors, international reviewers, international advisory board members, international access and a British approach. Founded in 2024, International Journal of Islamic Thought and Research is published in April and October every year. It is open to writers all over the world regardless of nationality. All published articles will be assigned a DOI provided by Crossref. International Journal of Islamic Thought and Research supports Bethesda's Statement on Open Access Publishing.

The purpose of the International Journal of Islamic Thought and Research is to encourage scientific research in Islamic thought and contemporary Muslim issues. International Journal of Islamic Thought and Research provides a platform for academics and researchers to publish the latest and significant research as well as other publication activities, such as book reviews and articles. The specific aims of this Journal are (i) offers a forum for publishing high-quality research in Islamic thought, (ii) Presents new ideas and philosophical findings in Islamic thought and the problems of contemporary Muslims, (iii) Encourage greater exchange of information between various scholars of Islamic studies throughout the world. This does not only happen in Indonesia and the Southeast Asia region and (iv) Disseminate the latest research that explores the relationship between Islamic thought and Islamic issues in the following scope.
