This study analyzes the integration of Islamic educational values into the eleven stages of the traditional Gayo wedding ceremony in Tampor Paloh Village, Simpang Jernih Subdistrict, East Aceh Regency. The study employs a qualitative approach with an ethnographically oriented case study design. Data were collected from February to March 2026 through observation of wedding ceremonies, semi-structured interviews with four key informants, and a review of village documents. Analysis was conducted through data condensation, thematic presentation, drawing of conclusions, and triangulation of sources, techniques, and time. The findings indicate that munginte, berunger, penosahen, berutem, pakat sara ine, genap mango, mah kero, beguru, jule bai, semah edet, and mah beru form a series of community pedagogical practices. Values such as shura, ta’awun, amanah, responsibility, birr al-walidayn, silaturahmi, courtesy, and gratitude are transmitted through participation, exemplary behavior, habit formation, and ritual symbols. Islamic Sharia serves as a normative boundary, while adat provides a social-performative medium for the internalization of values. This study proposes the concept of a custom-based social curriculum a process of non-formal Islamic education that operates through communal rituals and intergenerational relationships. The preservation of traditions must therefore be oriented toward the sustainability of values, not merely the maintenance of ceremonial forms.
